What happens to your data

We process personal data only as far as it is necessary to run this website. This statement describes what data that is and how we handle it. It follows the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG).

Placeholder — the address of the responsible body still needs to be replaced with the real details.

Contact form

When you fill in the form on the contact page, we send the details you entered — name, email address and message — to our mailbox. Technically: the details first go to our web server, from there encrypted to a script on the webspace of our Swiss hosting provider, which turns them into an email to info@plantmedicine.ch.

We use these details solely to answer your enquiry. They are not passed on to third parties for other purposes, and no database of enquiries is kept — the message sits in our mailbox and is deleted once it is no longer needed.

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and embeds no analytics, advertising or social media services. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing we would need your consent for.

The fonts used are hosted on our own server too, so loading the page opens no connection to external providers such as Google Fonts.

Server logs and hosting

The website runs on Cloudflare. As with any web server, technical log data is recorded, including the IP address, time of access and the page requested. This data is needed to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. Cloudflare operates servers worldwide, so processing may also take place outside Switzerland.

Linked sites

The plant pages link to external specialist sources. Their operators are responsible for the content and data protection of those sites.

Your rights

Within the scope of applicable law you have the right to

  • request information about the data we process,
  • have incorrect data corrected,
  • request the deletion of your data.

An informal message to info@plantmedicine.ch is enough.
